Originally from Roswell, I proudly call myself a native New
Mexican, having spent my formative years in the enchanting town of
Ruidoso. Together with my wife, Jill, a Ruidoso native, we’ve raised our
three daughters in this vibrant community.
My journey began in 1980 when I joined my grandfather’s construction
company, immersing myself in the intricacies of the trade. In 1988,
armed with newfound expertise, I earned a contractor’s license and
embarked on a 25-year journey running my own successful construction
company. Transitioning in 2013, I exchanged my tool belt for a real
estate license, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter that
aligned seamlessly with our longstanding passion for buying and flipping
houses throughout our 40-year marriage.
In addition to my real estate endeavors, I am proud to hold the
Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) designation from the
National Association of Realtors, underscoring my commitment to
excellence in the industry. I have actively contributed to the community
by serving on various committees, and in 2023, I had the honor of
assuming the role of President of the Ruidoso Lincoln County Board of
Realtors, further solidifying my dedication to advancing the real estate
landscape in our beloved region.
I see myself as an ambassador for the Ruidoso area, fervently
believing in its allure as an exceptional place to both live and work.
The region boasts a remarkable year-round climate, unparalleled natural
beauty, and a community of warm and welcoming locals, making it an
extraordinary haven that I am proud to represent.
